3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 22, 2014
Location: Draft at Morrison’s, 10/21/14
Aroma: It has a clean, hoppy aroma of lemon/citrus zest, spice, and some pale malts
Appearance: It pours a clear gold color with a white head and some light lace
Flavor: This one has a zesty and spicy hop flavor, with a sweet middle, and a mid-bitter finish
Palate: It has a lively carbonation and a decent mouthfeel, with a somewhat dry finish
First off, that name rationale is borderline genius. Just great. Weill done there. I have to give them extra credit for that. As for the beer, it is a pretty nice Session IPA. It isn’t the best is the style I have tried, but it is pretty good. A little less carbonation would have significantly improve the drinkability, and the overall enjoyment of this beer.

Quite hoppy and dry acidy crips Julie is not a fan. She gives it a 1.5 for effort. And the tiny bit if wheat

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap. Foamy pure white head, hazy light lemon gold. Lots of pineapple, citrus rind, melon and sherbet sweetness in the aroma. Flavor is less intense, but still really nice. Honeydew, citrus, slight pineapple meat and the earthiness that has. Very light soft body. Damn, sets the bar for me in the style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Fraser's. The pour is a light ambery gold, with a thin ring of white head and some pretty good lace. The aroma is big on pine and resin with a subtle floral hoppiness hidden well and gets more dominant the longer you inhale. The flavor is more dominated by the resin and pineyness, before a little funk from the west coast style pops in. The mouth feel is thin and watery, and the aftertaste doesn't hang around at all. This is the only aspect of this beer that isn't up to par

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is sweet, floral, not as light as expected. Appearance is light, pale yellow with a white head. Taste is light, initial bitterness followed by piny hops. Mouthfeel is decent, expected for a session with decent carbonation. Overall, pretty good.

Tap at CBC 2014. Deep golden in the glass, small head. Hoppy aroma. Starts mild, fine fruity, spicy, notes of lemon and apricot. Well balanced finish. Nice!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had on draft at the Ypsilanti Beer Festival. Really light flavors of citrus and mild hops. Somewhat dry finish and easy drinking. Although a session IPA, too light for my preference.
