Bouteille de 355ml, version 2012 à 13,5% alc.. Bière brune –rouge avec une mousse beige épaisse. De beaux reflets rouges sont aussi visibles. Au nez des effluves simples d’alcool fruité, de malt et encore de l’alcool. En bouche le liquide est puissant, simple avec des saveurs d’alcool et de malt sucré. Il y a trop d’alcool. Cette bière n’est pas facile à boire, elle n’offre aucune digestibilité. 6/10

Bottle from mikem409. Pours a dark opaque brown with almost no head. Aroma is very sweet, malty, lots of raisins and dark fruits, caramel, a little alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet with some surprising bitterness. Finish is sweet, lightly bitter. Full bodied, super smooth and buttery. Really good.

Draught at CBC. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Wonderfull.

(Thanks Josh!) Cette robe a une couleur qui oscille entre le brun et le rouge. Sa feuille de mousse qui flotte n’est pas surprenante. Son nez est une ode aux sucres. Il y a un gâteau aux fruits, du caramel, du chocolat et du seigle dans cette orgie olfactive. Son goût est complètement décadent. Je goûte du toffee, de la mélasse, des raisins et des prunes. L’alcool est bien présent et arrondi considérablement la base maltée gargantuesque. Une véritable commotion pour les papilles et pour mon pancréas. En bouche, le liquide se présente comme une liqueur fine délicatement touchée par les bulles. En finale, une longue litanie de douceur et une intrusion peu remarquée d’un alcool malgré tout puissant et chaud.

Sampled at DLD 2013. It poured a brown color with a small white head. The aroma was of whiskey, toffee, brandy, wood, oak, cherry, chocolate and fruits. The taste was of honey, jam, chocolate, coffee and brandy with a sticky, full body. Very good.

355 mL bottle. Pours a deep dark garnet with a nice beige head and lots of lacing. Aromas of dark caramel, fig, prune, rum cake, molasses and candied fruit. Robust, very sweet and sticky, medium carbonation and a full mouth feel. Provides a lingering finish, reminiscent of sweet sherry and tinged with booze. Big and dangerous, consume at your own risk, preferably with good fruit cake or bitter chocolate. Intense.

Pours a dark clear mahogany with an off white ring of head that quickly disappears. Awesome aromas of caramel, figs, dates and malt. Tastes about the same with an intense kick from the alcohol. Long warm finish. Good unique brew.

Poured from bottle at dark lord. Super dark pour. No head. Scotch and Carmel scent. This was one of my favorites so far. Crazy balance of stout tart sweet hops. Has everything going for it. Maybe a spit taste. Orange so good

355 mL bottle. Different from the one pictured here as I write this. Rated at 13.5%. Best before 01/01/2017. Dark, but not stout dark, with just a ring of head. The aroma is absolutely fantastic, with all sorts of malty good things going on. Smells like a really strong R.I.S. The taste is defferent, though, with more caramel and fruit cake, and less coffee and roast. Lots of chocolate, though. The booze and medium-low carbonation make this beer huge.
