Draft at brewery. Creamy white head and a ton of fresh Ginger in the nose. Some lemon, lime, orange and tangerine balance out the great Ginger flavor. Crisp and refreshing.

Tap-1-09-08. Golden, chill haze, decent white head. Ginger ale like aroma and flavor. Some residuel sugar in the finish. Very spritzy and refreshing, easy drink. Imagine vernors, slightly flat, with alcohol. Surprisingly enjoyable.

On tap. Huge amount of ginger on the nose, over powers everything else. Gold hue with a white head that mostly diminished and left good lace. Flavor is all ginger with a little vinegar. Soft carbonation and a medium linger on the finish. Nasty.

Stine (1628) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 13, 2007
On tap at the pub. A clear shade of toasted greyish yellow. Sharp grassy ginger in the aroma with sweet lemongrass; touches of spruce and a tepidly bitter bite beneath. Very spicy, but seeming more vegetal than hot from so much ginger. The Christmas tone of spiciness is pleasant and bold in the flavor, despite its being slightly carpety and moldy in that sense of mixed perfume and air freshener that conjures images of senior living facilities. Certainly odd, but somehow not especially awkward. Light bodied for the most part; very crisp and tangy. One-dimensional, and pretty intriguing.

On tap at the brewpub: Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma, ginger, crisp clean malty notes, some yeast. Flavor, ginger, almost salty, some sweet malty notes. Pretty good.

MBGF07. Served as Kuhnhenn’s Ginger Beer. Hazy, light amber body with a small white head. The nose is packed with frash ginger with lightly sweet caramel underneath. the flavor is lightly sweet, cotton candy and ginger ale. Medium/light body is soft with light carbonation. Simple, but quite delicious and refreshing. Most interesting beer at the fest.
