Cloudy gold beer, decent white head. Creamy wheat malt and minerals on the nose and a touch of cloves. Crisp semi dry palate, frothy in the mouth. Creamy wheat malt. Minerals. Tangy orange and banana cream. Pinch of cloves. Minerally dry finish. Overall quite a tangy weiss.

Draught at Rattle ´n Ham, NYC 120907.Yellow, hazy beer with a small offwhite head. Fruity aroma. Fruity, a bit leather and citrus flavour.

On tap at Kuhnhenn’s Brew Pub. Poured a yellow color with a small sized head. Bananas and cloves/spiciness were there, but somewhat on the muted and watery side.

The beer is hazy, straw yellow hued and teeming with clear, spritzer-like bubbles, but yields no head. Odd. The aroma offers some malt, spice, and banana, but is milder than is customary for the style. The taste is alright, but falls a bit short. Plenty of yeasty, doughy, bread flavors, with a general lack of banana and clove. The body is thin, with moderately low carbonation. A bit watery. Overall, this was drinkable and OK stuff. With Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier readily available in six packs, I don’t see myself having this one again.

Bottle. Pineapple, light banana, wheat malt, and very light clove aroma. Cloudy creamy golden with a moderate white head. Sweet tart pineapple, wheat malt, and light spicy flavor. Medium to full creamy body, moderate carbonation. Really enjoyed this one.

Bottle. Pineapple, peach, banana and wheat malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow with moderate head. Sweet-tart pineapple, light banana, and wheat malt flavor. Nice tart weizen.

Draught at Rattle&Hum, NYC. Cloudy yellow/apricot color with a small but lasting offwhite head. Malty wheat aroma, banana, pepper, clove, hoppy citrus notes, some grapefruit. Hoppy grapefruit flavor, wheat, clove, pepper, bready, some dough, banana, citrus, some peach. Spicy bitter finish with coriander, pepper and peach. Refreshing, a wheat beer made the American way.

On tap @ RnH (Kuhnhenn and Perennial night) with Andy and James. Hazy yellow pour, white head, nose of ripe to overripe banana and a similar palate. Not sweet or sour enough, kind of just old banana. Not awesome, but still has a crisp mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.

Draft. Cloudy yellow with light head. Thick, not too much carbonation. Lots of banana but not too sweet. Good hefe, on the heavy side.

On tap at Rattle N Hum, pours a cloudy yellow gold. Notes of lemon and orange peel, wood, smoked malt, vanilla. Taste is lemons, vanilla, clove, and a metallic citrus finish. Good beer just not my favorite style.
