(Bottle, hand bottled by Mike Mac) Pours a lightly cloudy orange body with an average white head. Aroma of clove, citrus, and spicy yeast. Flavor of unfiltered wheat. clove, and citrus. Thanks Mike!
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 hopscotch (7542) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 25, 2006
Draft... Murky yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. All the proper hefe esters and phenols in the aroma... a bit too spicy and phenolic for me. The flavor is well-balanced and a bit tangy/citric. Not very sweet. Light-bodied and creamy with subtle carbonation. Crisp, spicy finish. Hefes are just not one of my favored styles.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Tmoney99 (7300) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 12, 2009
Draft sample at MBGF Summer 2009.
Poured hazy orange color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate banana, clove and citrus aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a solid sweet finish of moderate duration.
Good refreshing brew.

Tap at Blind Tiger. The pour is very hazy and yellow. The nose is like banana puree. Sweet and very estery but also quite one dimensional. Flavour is full-bodied and wheaty but also loaded with lots of lingering banana flavour. There is a little bit of marshmallow as well. It’s pretty nice though.

Bottle courtesy of JCW: Pours a cloudy golden bronze with a huge, overcarbonated frothy white head with clumpy lacing. Aroma is citrusy and has a nice wheaty presence. Thin bodied, but has a nice wheaty sweetness before a sour, tart, yeasty finish. A decent hefeweizen, but a little too tart for the style.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Sammy (6129) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2006
On-tap at the brewery. Perhaps it has been around a couple of weeks too many. Creaminess in mouth and enjoyed bitterness, though sour
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jerc (5591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 23, 2006
Hazy golden yellow with a small white head.
Muted banana and wheat aroma. Some sweet fruity banana flavour with a bit of a wheaty tang. Average palate. Enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ibrew2or3 (4985) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JAN 1, 2007
5.8% ABV. On draft at brewery. Hazy gold color with thin bright white lasting head. Full hefe aroma that smacks you in the face with wheat, sweet malt and banana. The flavor is right there for a hefe except it seems a tad watery. I taste a really sweet combo of malts and malted wheat plus banana and cotton candy. Tasty hefe. Better consumed on a warm summer day rather than today.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 beerguy101 (4924) - Newark, California, USA - SEP 17, 2010
Sampled at GABF on 9/16/2010. This Hefeweizen pours a light gold color. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is banana and clove, fruity and sweet. A medium to light bodied Hefeweizen. The malts are fruity and sweet with lots of banana and clove. Nice balance. Good carbonation. A very nice traditional Hefeweizen. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
