This green gold mead is infused with a blend of american hops giving a complex citrus character.

Unlabeled 6.3 oz bottle. Clear golden yellow with a few bubbles. Nose is honey, lemon oil and solvent. Light syrup, oily; a touch numbing with a minty finish. Taste is honey, grass, green olive and plum brandy. Kind of strange but has a rustic appeal.

Thanks to FlandersNed for this mead. 7oz bottle, clear golden color, the aroma is a mix of honey and grassy/herbal notes. the flavor is very nice, not too sweet, but a good balance of sweet and, well, savory.

Bottle at Kuhnhenn in long stem snifter. Poured clear golden color with good legs. Heavy dark honey and floral citrus aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth rich texture. Medium to heavy dark honey and citrus flavor with a rich bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Pleasing rich flavor that is a top six for style.

Easily the best mead I’ve ever had... but that’s not saying much because I’m definitely no expert. Not overly sweet, polished golden color, aroma is really unique and you notice a slight citrus note, but it’s mostly the honey that comes through. Flavor is really well done and the hops give a little bit of a citrus note to the flavor... but it’s mostly honey, caramel, and earthy grassy tones. Nice stuff!

ogglethorp with the mad hookup!! pours a golden color. Aroma is full of wildflower honey, orange/lemon notes and agave syrup. Flavor is sweet with a very floral honey flavor and some citrus tones. Good mead.

Smell is slightly astringent. Flavor is better and more smooth. Slightly hoppy with some good honey action.

From a bottle. Pours a cystal clear straw color with just a hint of green to it. Aroma is citrus, honey, lemon zest, alcohol. Flavor is grassy, honey, citrus, lemon zest. Palate is full bodied, no carbonation, finished medium sweet. Really good mead, with just a hint of grassy hops.
