3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dogbrick (6008) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a medium fizzy white head that evaporates quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Noble hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with a moderately bitter herbal hops character with some grainy malt in the background. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 deyholla (4786) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 26, 2011
On tap at the 2011 Kuhnhenn Winter Solstice. Pours a clear deep gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces slightly. Aroma has sweet grains and hay with a hint of backing butterscotch. Flavor has much more butterscotch that is backed by sweet grains, but a bit too much butterscotch.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sammy (7029) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 23, 2011
Throw away your Buds, this draft at the brewpub on the Solstice 2nd evening was a little hoppy, a little creamy and had very good drinkability. A tad above average mouthfeel. Cloudy yellow body with no aroma. Lacey, and the carbonation was right there. A tad sour in the finish.

draft... this should be called an American adjunct lager, its all corn, way more corn then I can remember having any bmc, more of a malt liquor corn flavor, tastes ok besides being way to sweet, perhaps a good transition into craft beer for noobs

[4118-20111113] Tap. Grainy wheat yeast aroma. Clear, light yellow body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Wheat yeast and sweet grainy corn hints in the flavour. Medium body. Boozy wheat is noticeable but on the borderline of too much. (6/3/6-/3/12) 3.0
