COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This black in color imperial stout’s aro-ma is lead by coffee and dry roasty notes. Crème Brulè coffee is brewed and added post-fermentation. This killer stout is highly sought after at every tasting we take it to.

Not sure who wandered up and gave me a pour of this at Woodshop 5.0 but thanks. Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma explodes from the glass: creme brulee (duh), vanilla, semisweet chocolate, cocoa, and brown sugar. Flavor has some licorice, vanilla extract, roasted malt, hazelnuts, vague fruits. Very high carbonation but with some swirling it’s okay. Medium body, too thin to properly support the flavor. Otherwise a very good beer.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured dark reddish/brown color with an average creamy brown head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted coffee and dark sweet chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark robust coffee flavor with medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid complex beer.

Draught. Distinct Nesquick aroma. Black colour. Small brown head. Distinct light chocolate flavour to start with, turning to coffee and back to chocolate again. A different sort of chocolate flavour in beer, but very good.

Growler. Pours a black body with a tan coffee head. Aromatically sweet and roasty. Coffee, espresso, milk chocolate tones, vanilla and toffee notes. Bittersweet coffee and espresso with a medium warming and a chewy dark chocolate tone. Very good thanks for keeping this under 10% as well.

Pours black with a light tab head. Aroma is coffee and roasted malts. Almost smells like ice cream. Flavor is very little coffee. It’s pretty sweet and light for a stout. Pretty odd beer. Not sure what to think about this one

At the brewery, black pour, not much head. Aroma of java coffee..taste has some vanilla with the coffee and a little alcohol bite. Tasty.

Tap at Hopcat in tulip. Black with a small tan head. Nose is pure creme brulee, very rich, some chocolate and burnt cream. Medium body and very creamy, mixed with a not over the top but intense burnt chocolate flavor. Very good.

12 oz. bottle; thanks Alex!! Dark brown with thin tan head; vanilla cream, cookies and chocolate; texture is thin and pretty high on the sweetness chart; rich coffee and creamy chocolate; not as over the top and undrinkable as say the road rash stout, but this is getting up there

Served on draft at Hopcat in Grand Rapids. Shared by someone.... thanks. Pours a dark brown color, appearing black in the glass. Not much of a head but it shows some decent lacing. Big chocolate, mocha aroma with caramel and rich coffee notes. The taste is dry, bitter coffee notes, caramel and faint fruity notes. Full bodied.

12 oz. bottle (3/2010). Pours almost black in color with a medium sized, lasting tan head. The aroma is by far the star of the show. Sweet vanilla, mocha, caramelized sugar, malty; it definitely lives up to the name. The flavor is coffee with vanilla added, espresso, mocha, caramelized sugar. Medium bodied and a bit thin. I liked this one fresh, but had the nose higher than the flavor.
