Draft. Pours brown with a beige head. Light roasty aroma with sweet molasses and coffee. The flavor has roasted coffee, molasses, caramel, and an earthy hint. Good stuff.

On tap at RnH Kuhnhenn event. A mild, smoky, mellow brew. Surprisingly sweet for the style, and not hoppy. A nice one.

Tap at Rattle for the Kuhnhenn takeover. Pours clear brown, aroma is light and malty with some wood, earth, and caramel. Taste is more of the same, some sweet malt, earthy.

Draft at RnH with Streets, Andrew, and Brendan during the Kuhnhenn Total Tap Takeover Event. Pours a deep brown with no head. Aroma and flavor have notes of sweet malts, toast, and some chocolate.

Tap at BT. Pours a murky brown body with a fizzy head. Aroma is big nutty tones, earth and milk chocolate, some tootsie roll sweetness phenols and a touch of spice. Flavor is big toasty earthy malts, caramunich, and some chocolate nuttiness, a bit fat in the body upfront, but finishes off a bit prickly and zesty. Strange but pretty good.

Tap at the Blind Tiger. Straight, mild, malty aroma, with plywood and potato salad notes. Good complexity. Middling body, very fizzy on the lips. LIghtly vegetal. Not bad.

Draft. Pours a brown body with a a white head. Toasted malt, caramel malt with a light lagered chocolate flavor. Sweet with a toasty sweet finish. Eh.

Tap at the Blind Tiger: Deep murky maroon. Some dark Munich malts, mild toasted notes and a touch of lagered fruitiness. Silky body with a toasted dry flavor. Very mild fruity notes with mainly toasted malts. Doesn’t really feel German but it’s nice and dry- could be cleaner though. Still a decent session.

On tap at the Blind Tiger at their Kuhnhenn event. Pours a clear just hazy brown with a thin white head. Big malt and candy, light caramel. On the thin side of medium, light caramel, light malt. Finishes with a light bitterness.
