Tap. Very deep brown with small head. Very fruity, with date and grape flavor. Huge malt. Medium hop bitterness follows the sweetness. Complex and tasty.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with a white head. Sweet roasty cocoa aroma, malted milk ball, overall somewhat vague as to what it is, but good. Cocoa and nutty flavor, red grape. Quite enjoyable.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2015 Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Rich, dark black body with a foamy, frothy light-khaki head that takes a few minutes as it settles to a bubbly collar & thin film. Aroma of heavy, sweet black licorice, plums, prunes, milk chocolate, a hint of roast, molasses, fudge, maybe a little burnt sugars. Lots of dark fruit & underlying malt sweetness. Flavor takes a different turn, actually; super roasty on the palate. Heavy roasted malt, dense chocolate, charcoal & ash, licorice, dense prunes, molasses, a hint of fudge, burnt nuttiness, & some charred toast. Semi-bitter with tons of roast, although thereís definitely a bit of sweetness from the malt to balance. Medium-heavy body, slightly creamy. Good stuff, if you enjoy heavy roast flavors... Which I do.

On draft at RnH Kuhnhenn event. Muddy, dark pour. Isabellís is caramel-heavy porter. Lots of sweetness, and plenty of smoke too. Very good.

Tap at Rattle for the Kuhnhenn takeover. Pours brown. Taste is fairly mild with some roasted malt and earth. Taste is earthy, almost dirty, some more roasted malt, a bit unpleasant. Wasnít at all a fan if this.

Draft at RnH with Andrew, Brendan, and Streets during the Kuhnhenn Total Tap Takeover Event. Pours a murky brown body with no head or lacing.. Aroma is mild roast. Mouthfeel is light, smooth and refreshing with ntoes of caramel malts, roast, light hops. Extremely Sessionable - especially considering the alcohol content.
