COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a big English Brown Ale, dark brown in color, no hop aroma but malty on the nose. It is light and carmelly and dominated by malty sweetness. It is advantageous to let this brew warm up a bit, it bring the malt character out and becomes much smoother.

On tap @ Good Life, Masapequa, NY. The appearance is a murky brown/red, sometranslucence, off-white head. The aroma is fruit, nuts. The flavor is fruit, nuts, chocolate, hot and solvent-like, good overall. The finish is boozy, hot. Medium in body. Quite good.

On-tap at the pub, drank from a pint glass...Looks like a watered down coca-cola, semi clear, lots of amber on the fringe. The head is a bright off white that doesn’t really rise, but leaves a thin cap that says forever. Poor lacing...The aroma is a bit malty, but mostly dead and boring. The menu says to let this warm up a bit to open the nose, all it does is waste a bit of my time...The taste is just malty, some toffee. Missing nut and roast; boring, pedestrian brown ale Pass

Poured up on tap at the Kuhnhenn brewpub with dark amber body and tan head. The mild aroma offers up basically roasty malts with a sense of sweetness around the edges. The taste is full and rich with roasty malt, some sweet dark fruity esters, a touch of chocolate malts, a sense of minerals and hazelnut. Yum. Into the finish it picks up a thin layer of yeastiness too.
