7oz bottle-shared by jtc-pours gold and still. Aroma is honey, berry. Taste is sweet berry, honey, drying herbal.

(187ml bottle from Epic Mead Tasting 2011, thanks in part to blutt59 and Mora2000) viscous body, thick in the glass, gold in color with nice legs. Nose of earth, berry, honey, raspberry and strawberry. Taste of strawberry, raspberry, sweet, light body and easy to drink.

Thanks to blutt59 and thirdeye11 for going in with me on 16 Kuhnhenn meads. This was part of an epic 20 mead tasting. Pours a light pinkish-orange color. The aroma is extremely fruity with some honey mixed in. I am not sure what lingonberries smell like, but I guess they smell like this mead. The flavor is more of the same, with a ton of what I assume are lingonberries as well as some honey. Medium mouthfeel.

Bottle courtesy the great mead trade of 2011. (thirdeye11, blutt59, mora2000.) Pours a very light orange color. Very light. Aroma is sweet fruit with maybe a jelly bean type of nose. Sweet lemony nose. Great smell. Flavor is very sweet. Candied sugar and fruit, passionfruit and tropical flavors.

Bottle at James’ mead tasting. Pours a clear ruby tinged gold. Sweet berries, very soft and delicate, honey and sweetness. Lightly tart, soft berry, dusty and sweet. Sweet finish with more dusty berry flavor. Very nice.

Bottle thanks to FlandersNed. Pours clear pinkish gold. Nose/taste of berry and honey. Sweet berry finish. Some alcohol. Medium body.

(bottle courtesy of rayl101! Thanks Kevin.) Pours a still golden color with no head, of course. Aroma has lingonberry, otter pops, and some florals. Taste is sweet with a touch of bitter on the end. Medum bodied with a slick texture. Sweet with lots of fruit notes and a bit of a plastic aftertaste, but not in a bad way if that could possibly make sense.

Thanks to womencantsail, I think. Clear reddish golden in color with small white wisps of foam atop it. Nice lingonberry and honey aroma. Good even for Kuhnhenn. The flavor has nice berries to it as well. Other than that, well, it’s good mead. Nothing crazy, but enjoyable. Medium-bodied with little carbonation, as usual. I like it.

A nice clear, light orange color. An overwhelming Pixie Stix and Hawaiian Punch aroma. Intensely sugary but not as much of the tartness that I normally associate with lingonberries. Intensely sugary and sweet, flavor-wise. Some lingonberry flavor, but not as much as expected, nor as tart.
