| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 18, 2009 Pours a s;lightly hazy golden orange/amber color with paler golden yellowish orange hues when held to a light source and a frothy one finger head that slowly fades into a lasting ring.
Slightly toasty, nutty aroma with graham cracker/biscuit notes and carmel malt. Slight floral citrus hop presence along with some grassy straw notes.
Fuler end of medium body but still incredibly smooth and drinkable. Lots of crisp floral hops up front that are balanced mid-palate by the smooth caramel and biscuit malt notes. Slightly earthy with some grass and straw presence as well as some crisp light fruit notes, especially apple. The floral hops also produce a subtle citrus flavor, mostly grapefruit and orange peel along with some mango and pineappple, Very well balanced with a sweet body and slight dry finish. This is a very flavor, well balanced esy drinking session beer.

The label made me excited, but this beer had little balance - too malty and sweet. There aroma and appearance was lacking, and this overall was not a ejoyable drink. joshwilfong (778), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2009 reddish brown, large white head, nose of citrusy hops. moderate to high carbonation for the style. some moderate hop bitterness followed by a lot of nice hop flavor with mostly citrus, some herbal, and a little spice coming through, some yeasty esters and a little low crystal sweetness before a bone dry finish. a good APA, it could benefit a little by finishing with some more residual sweetness to provide a little more body or by decreasing the carbonation a bit j12601 (1231), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Tap at Blind Tiger. Pale orange-golden beer with a thin white head. The nose is quite lovely. Rich and chewy with a nice tropical mango nose. Peachy and fruity with a lot of orange peel as well. Soft light clean malts with a very light bitterness, but it has loads of chewy sweet malts. Really tasty APA. PilsnerPeter (2612), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Tap at Blind Tiger: Hazy orange with a creamy off white head. Juicy fruity hop aroma- some mango and peach with soft resins and a pale malt caramelization note. Creamy soft body. The flavor has a soft pale malt sweetness that mends nicely with a peachy hop juiciness and only mild resiny bitter finish. A juicy and aromatic pale ale. inkubus27 (248), Highland, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Not a bad pale ale, mostly malt forward with a little bit of hop presence in the nose and flavor. Overall seemed pretty bland to me, but could make a nice session beer. nbutler11 (741), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
