COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, light amber in color, when poured releases a nice citrus-like American hop aroma. A refreshing true session beer with a light caramel malt flavor. The sweetness is in balance with the bitterness.

On tap at Kuhnhenn. Pours honey colored orange with white head.Aromas of tropical fruits, orange, some hops, and caramel malts. Flavors of bitter hops, mango, citrus hops, and little bit of sweet caramel hops. Really solid and drinkable pale ale. Nice beer.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a slightly hazy honey color with a medium fluffy white head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Citrusy hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is hoppy and leaves a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at the brewery; pour is slightly murky golden with an off white head. This brew has a ridiculous tropical fruit character. Its almost over the top; mango, pineapple, caramel, and pear juice comes through for me. The flavor profile is lightly bitter, sweet, and so fruity. Interesting brew

A bottle 4 years out of date! This gamble worked fine with Tangerine Wit but not here. Cloudy amber brown beer. Low carbonation. Smooth malt with a vague notion of something hoppy. Finishes crisp with a carbonated bite. A perfectly drinkable beer but I suspect the hops went home a long time ago!

Tap at Rattle for the Kuhnhenn takeover. Pours clear light gold. Very strange aroma, dusty, funky, lemon. Taste is a bit tart with some honey. Very interesting but not very enjoyable.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2011 4/27/11: Draft at RnH with Streets, Andrew, and Brendan during the Kuhnhenn Total Tap Takeover Event. Pours a hazy copper with thin white head. Aroma is fruity and really different. Mouthfeel is absurd, tart, fruity, chewy. A very unique pale ale, let alone beer. {10/31/11: HAD this recently on cask and it tasted totally different. Much roastier flavors show their faces with the thinner palate and tastes almost like a porter 3.1}

Really interesting American pale. Has a sugary, wheaty, tangy flavor... Packs some dryness and some weird farmhouse/ chewable mecidine flavor. Even has the lightest crab or seafood aftertaste.

I had this on tap at the brewery into a tulip...Pours a very dark gold, white head, ok retention and lacing...The aroma is light faint hops but nice...The taste is light hops, but again light and totally drinkable. Exactly what a pale ale should be, nice hop taste easy to drink...Really easy to drink, close to being a session.

Probably Kuhnhenn’s best brew. Just a regular ale, nothing too special about the nose or flavor, but at least this brew is not sweet. It has some bitterness which is very enjoyable, not quite as bitter as a double IPA, but good nonetheless. Nothing spectacular, but it is enjoyable.

Got this beer on the house (a plus) when the Confusion IPA was out. Out of the IPAs and Pale Ales I tried, this was by far the best. Nice amount of hoppiness, good flavor, nice mouthfeel (the typical hops tingle without feeling like pop rocks), etc. Color was closer to a pilsner or lager than a pale ale, but I can deal. Overall, not bad.
