This beer, light amber in color, when poured releases a nice citrus-like American hop aroma. A refreshing true session beer with a light caramel malt flavor. The sweetness is in balance with the bitterness.

8/11/12. GTMW. Light orange pour with a small khaki head. Light citrus and hop in the aroma. More hops in the flavor with a solid malt backing. I have to say for a pale ale during GTMW, I dug it.

Clear deep orange pour with thin foam head. Standard citrus hop scent. Somewhat low carbonation. Orangey pine flavor, kind of watery. Yeasty finish with hints of hops.

On tap at the brewery. Very clear light orange pour, no head. Citrusy hop aroma, mostly oranges. A little caramel malt aroma too. Taste is mostly citrus, slightly bitter, slightly mostly. Nicely balanced but nothing to make it stand out. A pretty standard american pale ale.

Tap at Gingerman in NYC. Poured a clear, light amber. Diminishing white head. Nose is ultra sticky orange candies. Taste is old, flat, overly sugary Ginger Ale with sticky honey finishing wildly astringent and papery. Essentially undrinkable. Not sure if Gingerman has a tap line problem or if their house Ginger Beer has ruined some lines but a lot of their tap beer had a papery addition that was unwanted. Some were still drinkable. This one most certainly was not. I had to switch to Scotch.

[4124-20111113] Tap. Mild orange-tinted aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a quick foamy white head and a light lacing. Strong orange peel flavour has a noticeable boozy characteristic to it. Medium-full body. Good to try. (7/3/7-/3/14) 3.4

On tap at Kuhnhenn. Pours honey colored orange with white head.Aromas of tropical fruits, orange, some hops, and caramel malts. Flavors of bitter hops, mango, citrus hops, and little bit of sweet caramel hops. Really solid and drinkable pale ale. Nice beer.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a slightly hazy honey color with a medium fluffy white head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Citrusy hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is hoppy and leaves a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at the brewery; pour is slightly murky golden with an off white head. This brew has a ridiculous tropical fruit character. Its almost over the top; mango, pineapple, caramel, and pear juice comes through for me. The flavor profile is lightly bitter, sweet, and so fruity. Interesting brew

A bottle 4 years out of date! This gamble worked fine with Tangerine Wit but not here. Cloudy amber brown beer. Low carbonation. Smooth malt with a vague notion of something hoppy. Finishes crisp with a carbonated bite. A perfectly drinkable beer but I suspect the hops went home a long time ago!
