3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Probably Kuhnhenn’s best brew. Just a regular ale, nothing too special about the nose or flavor, but at least this brew is not sweet. It has some bitterness which is very enjoyable, not quite as bitter as a double IPA, but good nonetheless. Nothing spectacular, but it is enjoyable.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Got this beer on the house (a plus) when the Confusion IPA was out. Out of the IPAs and Pale Ales I tried, this was by far the best. Nice amount of hoppiness, good flavor, nice mouthfeel (the typical hops tingle without feeling like pop rocks), etc. Color was closer to a pilsner or lager than a pale ale, but I can deal. Overall, not bad.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at GTMW. Poured clear lighter golden with a fluffy whitish head. The aroma was sweet and fruity with just enough caramel backing.. the hops were deliciously green.. warm and enticing. The flavor found sweet medium-skinned fruits and caramel throughout.. tangy fruit skins and fresh fruit and piney bitterness all around.. long finish. Medium-bodied with the expected cask level of carbonation on the palate.. nice flow to it, and the resiny hops worked well. I’d have several more.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a transparent, somewhat hazy honey golden. Aroma is hoppy, slightly malty and slightly honey-sweet. Hoppy, somewhat bitter flavor has an undertone of honey and hints of spice and wood. Texture is smooth yet edgy.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Old BA rate - tap)
Orangey-yellow hue that is mostly clear; good amount of slightly off-white foamy head that unfortunately didn’t hold at all. Juicy piney hop aroma; solid matliness to balance the aroma. Aggressive pine hoppiness for an APA; fairly fruity; smooth sweet maltiness. Mediumish MF; softer, fine carbonation. Nice drinking here, packs a lot of flavor in and is pretty interesting in terms of the hop-forwardness. This might be considered an IPA for some other breweries. Good APA

Growler from Big Z Beverage. Pours a clear orange brown with a thick white head. Aroma of toasted malt, bready malt, light fruity sweetness, citrus. Flavor of caramel malt, a touch of citrus, and bready malt. Light and drinkable although a little boring flavor-wise.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at BT. Pours a medium amber with a slight hazy- decent head- fades a bit. Aroma is citrus- mostly grapefruit and orange zest, with grassy and earthy tones over toffee and light caramel malts- some burnt toast and mineral. Flavor is citrus, orange, grapefruit, lemongrass, earth, toast biscuit and a bit of waxy flowers. Pretty good.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a s;lightly hazy golden orange/amber color with paler golden yellowish orange hues when held to a light source and a frothy one finger head that slowly fades into a lasting ring.
Slightly toasty, nutty aroma with graham cracker/biscuit notes and carmel malt. Slight floral citrus hop presence along with some grassy straw notes.
Fuler end of medium body but still incredibly smooth and drinkable. Lots of crisp floral hops up front that are balanced mid-palate by the smooth caramel and biscuit malt notes. Slightly earthy with some grass and straw presence as well as some crisp light fruit notes, especially apple. The floral hops also produce a subtle citrus flavor, mostly grapefruit and orange peel along with some mango and pineappple, Very well balanced with a sweet body and slight dry finish. This is a very flavor, well balanced esy drinking session beer.
