COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, light amber in color, when poured releases a nice citrus-like American hop aroma. A refreshing true session beer with a light caramel malt flavor. The sweetness is in balance with the bitterness.

Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Burnt amber with orange highlights; mildly hazy. Topped with a small, thin off-white film. Little to no lacing left behind. Aroma with mild citric hop notes, a hint of tropical, too. Mostly grapefruit, pineapple, & some bitter orange. Touches of pine, hop oil, & some toasted, borderline caramel malts adding a hint of sweetness to the nose. Flavor follows the aroma exactly. Nice bout of grapefruit, pineapple, & tangerine, semi-bitter but backed up by a substantial malt backbone. Caramel & sugar crusted with notes of sweetbread & honey. Finishes heavy on the hops; herbaceous floral notes linger with some modest white pepper & perfume. Good balance, both sweet & bitter. Drinks quite easily, too. It’s a fairly textbook APA, but there’s nothing wrong with that.
