12oz bottle in a teku. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of dark malts, mainly chocolate but some roasted malts too, vanilla, lactose, light dough, and hints of hops. Flavor the same with a very nice blend of the chocolate, vanilla, and milk stout. Smooth texture. A cool beer.

Creamy milk chocolatey goodness. Had this during breakfast of champions to get off of all the sweet breakfast brews. Black/brown pour. Chocolate cream aroma and taste. Milk chocolate but thicker. Medium body light carbonation.

2014 bottle from recent bottle release. Pours black with a 1 finger brown head. Sweet aroma with slight coffee and some chocolate. Taste matches aroma. Mouthfeel is medium. Very drinkable. Good beer, but not my favorite from Kuhnhenn.

Draft. Sweet and rich milk stout... Almost just missing the coffee / roasted for more balance. Thick, creamy ... Just sweet.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Kuhnhenn for the Winter Solstice. The pour is a nice black with a darker khaki colored head that quickly disappears leaving minimal lace. The aroma is very sweet. With a nice roasty character and a little bit of chocolate. Maybe some coffee as well. The flavor is much of the same. Still sweet. The mouth feel is just a little thin, but the flavor lingers in a wonderful fashion.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to JStax ! Pours a rich burnt umber color with a huge billowing khaki foam... four plus fingers and three pours to get it to settle enough to sip. Nose is lots of milk chocolate, roasted malt, cake and oreo cookies. The palate follows with lots of sweet chocolate notes a tangy bitter undertone and a long roasty finish. Creamy body with a slightly sticky finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample from a 12oz bottle, 2013 vintage. Black color. Thin brown head. Some loose bits and ropes of lace. Roasty nose, some coffee. Bigger bitter roast and coffee character. Some dark chocolate. Light bite in the finish. Medium to bigger body. Light carbonation, lightly dry finish. Interesting imperial stout... Seems more russian style than milk, though.
