Bottle purchased at the Blueberry Eiabock release. Poured into my bourbon county tulip. Pours an ominous black in color with maybe a quarter fingers worth of off-white head. Nose is comprised of chocolate, vanilla bean, and lactose. Vanilla dies down in the flavor and this is more of a traditional milk stout. Prominent chocolate and lactose. Mouthfeel is light and oily, acrid, with gentle carbonation, and a lingering finish. Pretty good milk stout, glad I only bought 2 though.

Bottle graciously cracked by someone at best western legendary 2 night tasting. Poured thick and murky like fine mud. Light creamy lacing and head. Full flavors and scent of vanilla beans, chocolate, quick and milk, nuts, malt and sweet bread. Mouthfeel was about medium with lasting finish. Better than miloko and moo hoo guys. Excellent beer from the Kuhnhenn team.

Bottle received via trade with FlandersNed. Pours opaque black with a small, frothy light tan head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is chocolate and roast malt with nutty notes, dark fruits, and earthy hops. Flavor is dark malt, milk sugar, dark fruits, light hops and bitterness and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

12 oz. bottle, sent from bulldogp04 (thanks a lot, Dean), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is very milky, full of lactose, vanilla beans and cocoa powder. Flavour brings out lactose sugars upfront, followed by vanilla and cocoa further in back, finishes slightly roasty. The whole thing has a very milky quality to it, as advertised, making it quite full-bodied. A nourishing, thick milk stout. Great stuff.

This one poured a medium brown color with a biege head. Aroma was big and full of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and some caramel sweetness. Flavor was similar, great balance between roast and sweetness, with the inviting hint of coffee and chocolate. A great stout.

Damico (1977) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Pours thick, dark, and unclear coffee in color with a creamy beige head. The aroma brings the sweet lactose for sure, but I think have some influence from the berry eisbocks even though I rinsed the glass well. The body is not super creamy, but there are such delicious flavors of cream and coffee blended well.

Sample at 2013 MBG Winter Beer Festival. Smooth vanilla and chocolate aroma. Milkshake slick mouthfeel.

Draft. The aroma is mostly chocolate with some hints of barley. The taste is bitter chocolate. A good american stout for sure. Finishes a little bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at Kuhnhenn. Pours a deep brown with thin tan ring. Aroma of a Tootsie Roll. Cocoa, vanilla, and coffee. Taste is sweet and moderately bitter. Creamy rich mouthfeel. Very nice!

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2013 2013 bottle. Pours black with almost no head. Aromas vanilla, chocolate milk, light roast, and light espresso. Taste is packed with vanilla and cocoa. Really tastes like vanilla chocolate milk. Moderately sweet up front, slight bitter finish. Finish has a light roasted, creamy coffee taste to mix with the vanilla and cocoa. Medium body, a little chewy too. I feel like this has a tad too much vanilla but it’s still very enjoyable.
