Light in color, cloudy ale. Made with Michigan unmalted wheat, a traditional belgian style white ale.

Growler. Pours dark gold with amber hues, and hazy. A quarter inch head developed, and quickly dissapated to a few whisps on the surface. Some sporradic dots of lacework cling for the duration. Aromatics are pungently medicinal, with strong menthol overtones, and peppermint. Quite sharp and phenolic. Cloves and cardamon steeped in antiseptic. A hint of lemon and quanine follow through. Light to medium bodied, with mild carbonation. A tart, lemony start on the pallet leads to a ginger-like bite, along with lemon pith and cardamon. A warming peppery note on the throat follows through, along with spicy mint and a dusting of clove. Finishes with lingering medicinal, band-aid-like qualities and lemon tannins. Yikes.

On tap. Aroma has notes of banana, yeast, and spice. Cloudy pale yellow with an average sized white head that mostly diminished. Flavor is crisp and fruity then yeasty and malty. Very good representation of the style. A very smooth and drinkable brew.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear, powdery gold appearance. Sweet grains of paradise, shaved almonds, and coriander in a straightforward and understated aroma; hints of white and flaked red peppers with a quiet touch of tart underneath. Crisp and dry flavor of apple peel and orange zest brings the taut witbier sweetness into perfectly tempered form; straw and brisk cloves lend some spark. Tight and lucid in the mouth. Quenching, and very, very nice.

On Tap, cloudy medium gold with a white head, has a good wheat aroma with faint malt, spice and pepper in the background with some sweetness, tasty wheat with some lemon citrus fruit flavors, spices were subdued on the palate, little hop bite, easy to drink, a medium or more mouth feel, thirst quenching, not heavy on the palate, with a medium tart finish.
