6oz clear glass bottle pours gold with a minute long head of loose foam. The aroma offers up moderate notes of mint followed by mild vague sweetness and then some honey along with a chemical booziness at the end of the draw. The taste is straight up mint chewing gum enhanced by the effervescent carbonation. Midway for a moment and into the finish brief sweet smooth mead honey notes interject slightly before the mint wells up again into the finish. This is too carbonated for me and makes it a bit too minty and thin in body.

Bottle split with Ibrew2or3, thanks Dave. Batch 021208.

Bottle shared with Keith, Scott, Bill, and Frank. Pours a green tinted light clearish golden color with thin head and lacing, pretty much nothing. Aromas are earthy spearmint gardens, wrigleys gum stick, herbals, and light honey. The honey mostly comes through in the taste, along with fresh mint, earthy black teas. So refreshing, thick mouth but smooth as silk. Perfect thing to drink before a ride home.

Bottle… Berliner Bash on the Bay 2012This mead rocks!… Clear off-straw colored mead with a hint of green. The aroma is quite minty – a spearmint and peppermint blend. Nice, sweet, minty flavor with a touch of dryness to balance it out a smidge. Finishes minty, medium sweet, and then dry. Bottle shared by burg326!

Bottle thanks to FlandersNed. Pours gold. Nose is straight up mint, spearmint and mouthwash with some honey notes. Taste is mint leaves, honey and tea leaves. The taste is much better and more balanced and more delicate than the nose. Medium body.

Clear nip bottle thanks to burg326. Clear golden pour with decent legs. Double mint gum aroma straight up. Taste is lighter, mildly viscous in the palate. Some mint gum and mild alcohol heat. Interesting...too much spearmint.

6 ounce bottle shared at Berliner Bash, poured a light yellow color with some light green tint in it. Aromas of spearmint, booze, and some honey. Flavors are the same, overall very nice, and not as dry as I was expecting, the honey made it rather sweet, and cut some of the boziness. Thanks again ICEatALAMO for sending it to me.

Bottle courtesy of hopscotch and crew, thanks! Bright and clear golden color. Aroma of double mint, double mint, double mint gum. Taste is juicy fruit on steroids. Interesting.

6oz bottle from batch 021208 2012 vintage "Mint Julep Mead". Pours with a brilliantly clear, strongly golden yellow hue. Still, medium alcohol legs. Aromas are of mint and alcohol, light floral honey nose, really nice fresh and green mint character. Nearly bit of a brown sugar, vanilla nose. Lightly earthy, medium alcohol. Flavors are quite dry. A light nutty character from the honey. Buttery, good floral, toasted bread notes to the honey. Medium mint character up front that is mainly a floral note, that fades to a nutty, nearly malty/caramelized finish. Long duration, baked goods. Medium sweetness, balancing tannin at the finish, viscous (medium) mouthfeel, still. Warming but never hot. Quite a tasty mead.

Pours a light golden hue. Aroma is all mint with hints of candy sweetness. Flavor is very minty, fresh and green. Nice sweetness to back it up. Very similar to the spearmint mead. Tasty and refreshing
