Draft at crunchy's. Dark brown with a light head. A bit chocolatey with a nice light body. Don't usually like browns but this was really good.

Had this in June, poured a nice mahogany with no head. aroma dark fruits hops, chocolate, caramel, malt. flavor got the dark fruits, hops and the chocolate, caramel, has a nice sweetness to it good beer

Draft at Crunchy’s, East Lansing. Hazy deep orange-red-brown body, thin to medium tight beige head. Nose of toast, brown sugar, and especially Tootsie Rolls. Sweet body with Tootsie Rolls, nougat, and caramels; nutty and candy-like with a bitter finish.

On tap at Kuhnhenn, served in a shaker, this drink had a dark brown pour and had a nice light tan colored head when served at the bar, and there was nice lacing on the glass as I drank, this beer had aromas of chocolate, caramel, toasted and roasted malt, and some milk duds (which I found to be a good thing), the flavors were toasted and roasted malt, chocolate and caramel, the mouth feel was a little less than medium and had some creamy feel on the tongue, a nice brown ale, with a good chocolate nose and flavor, I would drink again.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. A lacey fresh brown. Good chocolate, good for its basic style and worth a try. Above average mouthfeel

Sample at the brewpub. The beer a cloudy dark brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted nuts, malt and hops. Medium body with a roasty character and notes of chocolate malt and hops. The finish is sweet and malty with a touch of spiced hops left behind. Decent overall.

tap at pub. Just released today. Pours murky brown with soft head. Aroma of nuts and some spice. Very easy drinker
