Golden yellow. Prominent nose of apricot, and honey. Quite sweet, minimal chardonnay. Taste has more muddled peach/apricot/light fleshed fruit character, sweet honey upfront but finishes quickly and dry (almost parchingly). Chardonnay in the finish. Medium thick body, no alcohol.

6oz bottle, 2011 version. Thanks to Mike on the other site for all this mead! Pours a clear light golden. Aroma is slight peach with loads of white wine notes and some overall sweetness. Taste is straight peach up front with the tartness from the apricot followed closely behind and then the last half of the taste is all chardonnay. Very dry for a mead with a nice level of sweetness, would have liked the fruit to come out even more. Very nice overall.

Pours a light yellow. Aroma of fuzzy peaches and Chardonnay wine. Light and fruity. Sweet peach and hints of lightly tart apricot. Wine like and nice. Real nice sipper.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Dunt (215) - Illinois, USA - MAR 30, 2012
Opened this with my girlfriend. Poured into my Cantillon stem glass. Pours a light yellow similar to a Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay. Nose is all Chardonnay with some gentle apricot notes. There is also a moderate amount of sweet honey. Flavor follows the nose, it pops with Chardonnay/white grape flavor. The honey melds with the grape flavor to form almost a dessert wine of sorts, this is delicious. The peach and apricot are kind of lost in the flavor unfortunately. Mouthfeel is light and soft, with a long finish. Absolutely incredible mead, wish this came in a larger format so I could enjoy this all night.
