BBB63 (5962) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - JUN 11, 2005
Tap: Deep brown hue with a small frothy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of chocolate and roasted malts, smoke, bready and dusty esters. The taste starts with a nice lactic twang and bitterness from both the roast and hops. Roasty and mocha overtones with a touch nutty and smoky finish. The feel is smooth with some bite, a bit oily as well. The beer is a solid offering and quaffable.

Some candied sugar and other smokey swetness. Mild roasted flavors with a lively carbonation and a quite dry feel. Very littel bitter aftertaste. Just smaokey and mild.

Appears a dark brown with lots of huge carbonation bubbles and a completely perfct lacing ring left around from the nice tan head. Smell is of chocolate but it is slightly faint and weak. Taste is of caramel, chocolate, and hops with cream coming through. Mouthfeel is sweet and slightly cloying.
