This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated dark ruby red brown colored body. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and dark malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

May 19, 2008 Draft @ Brewpub: Gotta love a name like "Penetration Porter". Overall, pretty solid representation. Very malty, tastes of chocolate and caramel with a hit of vanilla and perhaps some roasted nuts.

Mar 21, 2008 Draft at Kuhnenn.Small creamy tan hed that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, no carbonation observed, transparent, and a red brown hue. Nose was malty, chocolate, hoppy, and citrus notes.Flavor was chocolate, hops, caramel, and malt.Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body.Quaffable, balanced, would drink this one again, and worthy of a try.
