3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Blind Tiger. Pale straw-coloured pour with a white head. The nose is lightly hoppy with a fresh grassy nose. A bit of light herbal/zesty hoppiness. Fairly bready, fresh and tasty. Nice fresh and spicy brew with fresh clean hoppiness. Fresh and fairly simple, but I like it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the Blind Tiger at their Kuhnhenn event. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Barely a touch of grain, crackers, light lemon. Tiny bit sweet, malty. Finishes crisp with a light bitterness and a hint of biscuit.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured up on tap at the Kuhnhenn brewpub, listed as “Pilz” on the chalk board, with gold body and bright white head. The aroma is light in strength and offers up light amounts of graininess and spicy hops. The taste is fresh grainy malts and then quickly picking up spicy and floral hops. It then becomes sweeter into the finish. Despite the sweetness a nice spicy to somewhat floral hoppiness persists into the after taste. Nice Pils.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Lots of draught pints on 4/6/07
Ya, you know I was in heaven when I came there and they had a pils and pre-pro on. Damn, damn, damn. Wonderfully retained white head atop a deep brassy-golden body. Clear and well-conditioned. Light lace.
Crisp yeast and deliciously crisp, dry, grainy malts but with no dough, starch, dextrine or anything to dull this brightness. Crisp, steely hops are highly aromatic, but intensely dry and understated. No flaws whatsoever. High strength.
Tight carbonation, but not an obnoxious amount of it whisks the clear malts, soft water and dry, deeply lush grassiness from the hops about the palate. Perfectly attenuated and balanced. I still have an unopened, refrigerated growler and I cant fuckin wait to drink it!!!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the Blind Tiger. Very lively mouthfeel -- extremely fizzy. Lightly veggie, a bit of white rice flavor. Corny. A little bit of saaz hopping balances things out.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear straw body with small white head. The aroma is grassy, bread and light lemon. The flavor is light, dry with grass, grains and lemon. Medium/light body has moderate, dense carbonation with a dry, bitter end. Great pils.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Blind Tiger: Slightly hazy golden with a creamy white head. Bready aroma with a mild lagered fruitiness and mild vegetal/grassy hop notes. Creamy body with a chewy flavor. Lots of biscuity pils malt richness and mild/brief lagered fruity notes at the fore. Lots of chewy pilsner malt graininess and long peppery earthy hops at the back. A bit dirty but rich & tasty. Could be cleaner.
