Draft at Rattle with Andrew and BRendan during the Kuhnhenn tap take over 9/4/12. Pours a hazy amber body with nice white lacing. Aroma is fresh tart guava, apricot, fresh citric hops and a nice vinegrette. Mouthfeel is tart and whispery, almost vaporing to the effect of CCB Grandma Funky Blueberry. Notes of tart guava, a burst of sour tropical fruits, grapes, wine, vinegar and blueberries. Awesome.

Draught at Rattle&Hum, NYC. Cloudy grey beer with a small offwhite head. Sourish funky aroma, fruity, citrus, pears, spicy notes, citrus, hay, banana notes, sour, barnyard, lemongrass, some earthy notes. Hoppy citrus flavor, guava, floral, barnyard, vinous, leather, funky sourish, grapes, pine, woody notes, herbal and with spicy notes. Somehow this is balanced and out of control at the same time. I love it!

MiBG summer fest 2011. the last version i had sampled at the festival. brownish red pour with minimal head. aroma of sweet black cherry, oak, sour funk, and massive guava. despite the massive guava addition, kuhnhenn was able to keep it from dominating all aspects of the base "play in the hay". this one takes on an herbal, tea-like aspect as well, and was insanely refreshing
