alamar (1), USA does not count Nov 8, 2007 It’s back!!!! The members of the Kuhnhenn Guild of Brewers Homebrew Club were bestowed with an advanced taste of this years Raspberry Eisbock. Rich, fruity and delicious are the first terms that come to mind when tasting this favorite. Scheduled for limited release on December 21st at the Winter Solstice Party with bottling afterward. presario (2953), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 30, 2007 A generous gift from tiggmtl. Still muddy reddish brown. No head. Aroma of chocolate, raspberry and alcohol. Alcohol is muted but still noticeable in the flavour. Chocolate with a molasses hint and faint trace of advertised caramel. Raspberry in the finish. Begs the question of what it tasted like fresh. Smooth but seems a bit tired. 19641948 (492), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA Oct 5, 2007 Limited release hand-signed bottle by the Kuhnhenn’s. Thanks for the treat, Tim. Originally received a 4.85 from me on 8/14/05. Raspberries, chocolate, moist dessert bread. Luxurious mouthfeel. A dandy. LearninBeer (194), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA Sep 29, 2007 2004 bottle. The aroma was raspberry, chocolate and a hint of bread. Opened the bottle and it fizzed up and over. The head was fizzy, fully diminishing. The body was dark red. The initial flavor was sweet with chocolate, raspberry and a flavor that hit the back of the throat and stayed for a nice long finish. The body was light to medium, the texture full (watery/creamy) and the carbonation fizzy. Glad I have another on hand for next year or later. jgd0608 (187), Zeeland, South Carolina, USA Sep 11, 2007 Cute little bottle. Can’t thank walleye enough for this bottle. Absolutely divine. Smell was chocholate covered rasberries, as was the taste. I should write much more about how extravogant this beer is, but only one word can describe it. PERFECT! Thanks again Jim Ofortuna (322), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA Sep 1, 2007 Many thanks for Sliffy and Blake for allowing me to taste this on two seperate occaisons! Wow, one of the greatest noses I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing! Chocolate covered cherries describes this best. Dominant brewers chocolate and sweet Bing cherries carry through the entire experience. The flavour even reminds one of the sweet gooey center of........well, a chocolate covered cherry. Carbonation was a bit lacking and I would’ve liked to have seen a bit more, but that flavour is just wonderful. Zero discernable fusel content considering it’s near 11% alcohol and a mouthfeel that is quite pleasing with some good complexity going on. Gotta get more of this! kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 12/03/2005

KingpinIPA (842), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 29, 2007 Thanks to brewblackhole. Dark brownish color. WOW! The smell is out of this world. Smell of malt, chocolate, caramel, raspberries, brown sugar and toffee. Taste of chocolate malt, brown sugar, caramel, raspberries, darker fruit, toffee, syrup and a wonderful aftertaste. What a treat! Nice and smooth.
