UPDATED: SEP 25, 2011 Draft at gingerman with Linh, Ken and nica. Pours a deep cherry marmalade with off white lacing. Aroma is sweet cherries and raspberry jam. Mouthfeel is smooth and finishes slightly dry with notes of fresh, ripe cherries, raspberries, some sugar and hop.

On tap at Ginger Man. Pours a lightly hazed amber with a medium to large dense beige head. Loads of cherry on the nose, definite cough drop aroma to it, but not so cloying as a lot of the other beers that pick up that same characteristic. A touch of toast as well. Medium bodied, loads of cherry, more cough drop flavors. Soft sweetness and malt, more lingering cherry.

Draft at gingerman with steph. This was mislabeled as the original sour cherry ale but it was definately intended to be the skips. A blend of raspberry and cherry jello aroma, not entirely sour.. Mainly maraschino cherry juice and sticky body. Really like liquid candy or koolaid mix.

Bottle shared at a recent BA/RB tasting... Poured a dark red with a khaki head. Cherries tasted fresh, imparted a medicinal quality that meshed with a lactic sourness.

Super awesome beer from WeeHeavySD. Cloudy yellow amber color. Great cherry taste. Like biting into the perfect sour cherry. Sweet mild sour aroma

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2008 12oz labeled from masonjer. Thank you Jeremy. Shared with Wetherel, and my girlfriend. Hell yeah low ratings on a sour. Pours orange with a tan head. Nose has tart citrus with sour notes. Taste is sour and citrus with definite cherry notes. Sour cherry and citrus very very nice. I like this it is tasty and sour and funky fresh, fff fff fresh.

from the bottle courtesy of Skip. first I have to say I am not a big fan of sours I stay away from them, but after have this beer I think I am going to start seeking them out more. poured a cloudy orange wheat with a big white head. aroma cherry, some sweetness, almost honey like, sour fruits. flavor, tart cherries than a hint of sweetness. as it warms got some tangerine thank you Skip

12oz labeled bottle. thanks to jeremy for bringing this to share... poured a cloudy lemony orange with a thin bubbly white head....nose was must with some soft sour cherry but nothing too distinguishing..... tart, acidic, and slight cherry flavos with good carbonation and decent mouthfeel.....i’m hoping that some age would do this some good and some more funk will become pronounced as time wears on....

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2008 Tasted at Kanarama. To be fair here, I just want to add that this beer has not been officialy released yet, the brewery is giving it some more time. I would not be surprised to see it develop more. Poured a murky pink/peach color. Little musty on the nose. Taste is slightly acidic with a distant touch of cherry. Some sweet malt in there as well. Not a whole lot to this one. We will see how it develops.
