Reviewed from notes. On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy light apricot color with a white head. A bit of lacing on the way down. The nose brings forward a pretty good amount of tangerine as well as a bit of yeast and spice. The taste is slightly spicy with some coriander noticeable, though the tangerine dominates and makes it a bit one-dimensional. However, quite pleasant. Nice light feel with good carbonation. Sample at the brewpub, listed as "Wit" at 5.5% but no mention of Tangerine (nor on the website). The beer pours a hazy bright orange color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, yeast and malt. Light body with flavors of zesty citrus, wheat, spices and malt. The finish is fruity with a wheaty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Blonda ale with a nice fragrant aroma of oranges rinds and pulp. Fresh. Nice malt base with tingling tangerine. Light bodied, and perfect for summer. Mondial 2005.

Draught at Kuhnhenn. Pours a cloudy orange-yellow with pretty much no head. Very fruity aroma and flavour, especially citrus, along with yeast and spices. Medium bodied. This is extremely drinkable and refreshing.

Draft a little while back. Gold pour. Big tangerine and spiced aroma. Light wheat malt flavors with subtle but present tangerine and spice, balanced decently I felt. A bit tart and acidic, giving it a crisp mouthfeel. I thought this was a pretty good beer.

Draft at kuhnhenn. Pours a bright gold color with a foamy white head. nose is furity, tangerine, melon like, characteristics. Taste is lightly fruity and gummy. A good beer for a hot summer afternoon.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2006 Bottle (12oz). Via trade with Iguenard. Poured cloudy orange with a fizzy-foamy white head. Slight sour/tangy tropical fruit aroma - taste of alcohol and tropical fruit, some graininess. Sweet, watery body, a little acidic from the fruit, quick finish ... pretty damned nice. ** earlier original bottle rating 5/3/6/3/12=2.9

Pours a golden body with a 1 finger white head. Big citrus fruit body. Tangerines, clementine, coriander, and oranges. A little wheat lemon zest and a soapy chamomile.

Brown bottle, 355 ml, best before 081305, savoured on March 5 2007; eye: yellow with a orange hue, nice creamy white head that stays because of the good effervescence, clear, quite abundant lacing; nose: chamomile, tangerine, light coriander, floral, sweety fruity; mouth: surprisingly smooth, chamomile, tangerine, floral hops, quite long finale with uncommon flavours of tangerine mixed with chamomile, quite sweet, slightly bitter, lightly acidic, a bit thin texture, quite carbonated, slightly astringent; overall: better than I expected FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 355 ml, meilleure avant 081305, savouré le 5 mars 2007; oeil : jaune avec une petite teinte orangée, belle mousse blanche crémeuse qui se maintient grâce à une bonne effervescence, claire, dentelle assez importante; nez : camomille, tangerine, légère coriandre, floral, fruitée sucrée; bouche : curieusement douce, camomille, tangerine, houblon floral, finale assez longue et non commune en tangerine mélangé à de la camomille, assez sucrée, très légèrement amère, légèrement acide, corps moyen, texture un peu mince, très carbonatée, très légère astringence; en résumé : meilleure que mes attentes

Poured up on tap at the Kuhnhenn brewpub with light copper body and full size off white head. The aroma is full on banana, cloves and bubble gum with a mild rauch like sense followed by a citrus note that is likely the tangerine treatment. The taste is a mix of citrusy tangerine and banana as well as loads of cloves and yeastiness. The tangerine doesn’t seem to paly well with the banana/bubble gum/clove trio.
