This English-style Pale Ale was made with a special English yeast strain and spicy European hops. It is light in col-or, sweet upfront with a dry finish. Let-ting this beer warm up will brighten it and make the flavors more apparent.

Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Looks like pale apple juice; very faint straw & pear color with a modest cloudiness. Thin white skin of foam on top. Aroma is fill of mild, English-style hoppage. Non-abrasive nor bitter, heavily floral with notes of earth, must, & slight spice like white pepper. Similar to Noble hops, but more flowery & less earthy overall. Touch of lemon zest & apple skin. Very subtle. Flavor is kind of watered down. Extremely light. Notes of apple, pear, & even mild lemon-lime emerge with an underbody of flower petals, earthy herbs, & some mild peppery spice. Slightly sweet bready malt body, not quite toasted but a touch darker than pale. Finishing bit of apple skin zest. You could drink this like Gatorade. A little understated overall, but certainly not bad.

Ok this makes more sense. Got this and the American IPA mixed up in sample tray. The Timmys pours clear orange as well with decent lacing and head. Aroma is predominantly caramel malt with some light hops. Some booze on leave medium carbonation, consistency a bit thick for my liking for style. Tap at brewpub.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear bright golden color with a nice 1 cm head that lingers a bit. Musty aroma and very malty. Big sweet pale malt aroma mixed nicely with wet grass and hay. Moderately sweet up front with the grassy and spicy hops taking over in the finish. Very dry and lightly tart. Nice pale ale.

Underrated English IPA, on tap at the brewery. Good drinkability and IBU of English hops. Lacey.

Draught at Rattle&Hum, NYC. Somewhat hazy golden beer with a small offwhite head. Malty citrus aroma with some pepper, grass and some grapes. Hoppy citrus flavor with orange peels, lime, apples and pepper. A bit thin, but quite true to the style.
