Pouring at the Michigan Brewers Festival during RBSG. Pours a just clear brown with a large beige head. Soft toffee and light hops. Chocolate, malt, and toast. Thin to medium bodied, soft cocoa. Soft and sweet finish. Nice stuff.

MBGSF 2010. Poured reddish brown with a large fizzy off-white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate complex toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium sweet toasted flavor with a medium dark chocolate finish of moderate duration. Interesting brew for a fest beer.

Tap at MBGSF. Not a mild. Sweetish, crumby and toast aroma. Easy body, a smattering of earthy hops, with a slight licorice finish.

_ At MBGSF! Pours a deep reddish brown color with a huge head and some lace. The aroma is stinky in some way but has a lot of fresh malt, like what it smells like in the homebrew store. There is also a distinct chocolate aroma in there as well. The flavor has a nice mildly toasty character with some mild chocolate and a bit of earthy hoppyness.

On tap at MBGSF 2010. Aroma is messy matly. Dirty. Flavor is better but watery.
