Our Imperial White Ale is a cloudy straw color, and has a zesty citrus nose and a medium sweet aroma. It is refreshingly crisp with a bit of a wheat flavor. With medium hop bitterness, this is a delight-ful brew for any season. Formerly 9.5%

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2014 Tap: Cloudy, nearly opaque golden color with a soapy white head that reduces to a lasting collar. Aroma contains light white pepper spice, orange peel, citrus zest, mild wheat, some bubblegum, yeasty esters, faint dirt, & a touch of phenol. Taste hides the ABV well. Mild banana flavor with heavier orange & citrus peel in the end. Estery & yeasty, full of spices from front to back. White pepper, maybe coriander? Touch of saltiness in the finish. Like halfway between a Belgian pale & a Belgian strong.

Tap at Kuhnhenn. Hazy amber pour with a small head that fades to a thick ring. Aroma is packed coriander, some fruitiness and bubblegum, and perfumy flowers. Tastes way too spiced for my liking. Strong Belgian yeast finish. Noticeable alcohol as well. I’ve never gotten this on tap in the past since I usually hat witbiers and this confirmed it for me. It’s not terrible but I’m never ordering it again.

White golden colour, white head. Aroma of witbier, spicy, lots of orange zest and coriander. Nice, refreshing wheat flavour, yeast, light sweet, spicy. Finish banana and spices. Nice enough brew, just not really my cup of tea.

Tastes more like what Julie think a farmhouse ale tastes like. A little yeast and a tiny bit sour in the back. She gives it a 2.5 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

on tap on the premises. hazy light yellow pour with a small white cap showing minimal retention and lacing. ginger and lots of herbs - coriander perhaps, warming alcohol, bananas - not overdone like their hefe, yeast, hot peppers w/o tingling factor, very spicy and peppery, pale cushiony maltiness - honeyed, grass. average carbonation, light to medium body - oily, drying gingery-citrusy-peppery finish. nice unusual offering. enjoyed!
