Pours dark brown with small tan head. Aromas of chocolate, toffee, and some malt. Flavors of chocolate and toffee with malt and caramel. Easy drinker with tons of flavor. Pretty good stuff.

Poured a med. brown. aroma had a hard time picking stuff out, I did get some chocolate and yeast. flavor roasted malt, chocolate some brown sugar. a little watery but still a good beer easy to drink

tap at brewpub. pours a clear brown with red highlights and barely any head. notes of chocolate, bread. very crisp and refreshing. this hit the spot. Not overly complex, but not complaints either.

2009 WinterSolstice. Somewhat infected tasting, maybe wild yeast? Soapy head with carmel colour. Above average mouthfeel. Roast aroma.
