(187ml bottle from Epic Mead Tasting 2011, thanks in part to blutt59 and Mora2000) near clear pour with decent legs. Nose of sweet honey, floral, earth. Taste is dry, bitter florals, a bit hoppy and dry finish.

Thanks to blutt59 and thirdeye11 for going in with me on 16 Kuhnhenn meads. This was part of an epic 20 mead tasting.
Pours a light yellow color. The aroma is not that exciting. All I get is honey. The flavor is a little more complex. In addition to the honey, I also get some floral notes and a little bit of alcohol. Medium mouthfeel. Not as exciting as some of the other crazy Kuhnhenn meads we had at the tasting.

Bottle courtesy the great mead trade of 2011. (thirdeye11, blutt59, mora2000.) Pours a very light straw color. Slight bubbles. Aroma is honey, flower petals, pollen and sweet notes. This smells hot. Flavor is spicy alcohol, dry floral notes and floral notes. Finishes spicy and polleny.
