a touch of veggies in the aroma, alcohol is tempered a bit allowing more complex flavors, still not for me

argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA Mar 9, 2007 (12oz bottle) Crystal clear amber body topped by swiftly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, grape, caramel, some bubblegum, cherry, light herb. Taste is sweet, grape/orange, alcohol, some caramel. Sticky full body. CaptainCougar (4637), Rockville, Maryland, USA Apr 24, 2006 Hand-bottle sample shared by beeryum: Pours a clear copper bronze with a thin off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, Belgian yeast and fusel alcohol. Body has a sweet, lightly fruity, creamy malty flavor with some bready Belgian yeast complexity. Finishes with some lingering light fruitiness and lots of warming alcohol. An interesting and enjoyable beer that packs a punch. hopdog (4564), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 14, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade. 2005 Vintage. Poured a medium amberish color with a small sized off white head. Aromasf o nuttiness, some alcohol, caramel, dark fruits, and cherries. Tastes of nuts, dark fruits, and caramel. Very light alcohol in the finish but no where near 15%. Light tart finish. hopscotch (4477), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Dec 26, 2006 Cask... Murky, burnt orange ale with a mid-sized, off-white head. Spicy, gingerbread nose with plenty of alcohol. Spicy, ginger flavor with moderate sweetness and mild pungency. Medium-bodied and creamy with soft carbonation. Finishes tangy and sweet.
