Bottle at the mondiale 2014. Copper pour, medium off white head. Light citrus, light pine, caramel malt aroma. Soft mouth feel, soft carb. Finish is medium bitter, earthy and malty. Again, light pine and citrus. Boring.

from bottle at mondial 2014, mtl. unclear dark golden with a small creamy off-white cap, some retention and lacing. doughy lightly toasted malts, caramel touch, fruitiness - mostly oranges, pine and resin, very spicy and peppery, bit of dirt and bitter herbs. moderate carbonation, light body, sweetish piney-citrusy-spicy-peppery finish.

Boutip (4636) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 18, 2014
Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of grainy cereal notes with dank hops is not very good. Taste is also dominated by weird grainy cereal notes with dank hoppy notes. Body is average with OK carbonation. Something is wrong with the malt bill, the hops profile or some of the other ingredients that were added but in any cases this is not something I would want to drink again.

mathieuc (1141) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 15, 2014
Pours a light copper with a low white head that offers fine lacing. Nose is pretty raw with a lot of hop oils and perfume, just not refined to me. Taste is of sweet caramel, citrus and alcohol. Mouthfeel is sticky, body medium and carbonation more than enough. OK, felt like an old-style IPA.

Lubiere (9728) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2014
A hazed amber Ipa with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with wet dog notes, oxidized. In mouth, a a sweet fruity malt with floral hops and resinous, oxidation, so-so.

Mondial 2014. Meilleure avant juillet 2014 : oups…. Œil : orangée, col de mousse. Arômes : résineux, malts grillés, caramel, old school. Saveurs : caramel, résine, houblons malhabiles. Impression en bouche : ordinaire, pétillant. Arrière-goût : terreux, floral, céréales. Conclusion : trop maltée, la fatigue.

Very hoppy, best to drink when eating rich food. Don't notice the maca or weird ingredients. Nice appearance, though.

BLADT (451) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAY 18, 2014
Bottle pour. Found in the orphaned singles section at the bodega. Rich, orange-amber in glass. Citrus caramel nose. Dry. A little harsh on the finish. Not sure what the maca root added.

beerbill (3324) - Laurel, New York, USA - APR 19, 2014
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a moderate linen white head that lasted until nearly mid-glass and laced the glass extremely well. However, there was a crapton of flotsam which I presume to be residual hops. There was enough to cover the entire bottom of the glass an eighth of an inch thick once it all settled. Pleasant aroma of orange and pine as well. The flavor is malt with some mild spice followed orange and pine. Moderate bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied.
