3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at NY Winter Beerfest. Poured a medium brown with an average sized foamy light beige head that left some decent gobs of lace. Aroma is just sick, smelled like a slice of banana bread. Medium to slightly thinner bodied with average carbonation. Flavor has a bit more grain and toast than the aroma, bananas, light hint of nuts. This was a nice beer.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Looks like a brown ale. Smells like a banana. Tastes like a muffin. The banana is a bit overpowering in this one. Otherwise tastes like a bubbly banana nut muffin. Not bad, just as long as you know what you’re getting into.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to pint (shared with jmborggren). Looks good; a fairly opaque mahogany with thin beige lacing. Smells just as the name describes. Tastes like it smells with a solid (albeit slightly thin) mouthfeel. Good beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The aroma ia banana bread, nuts, amazing. The appearance is deep maber/brown, only a slight translucence. The flavor is banana bread, nuts, caramel. The finish is sweet, light piney hops. Medium in body, slightly thick. Many brewers have tried this, many have failed. These guys did not fail.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
New Beer Distributors, NY 12oz ($2.25): Pours a medium brown with a beige head. Aroma when you first open the beer is a big hit of banana. On closer inspection there is hazlenut and roasted malt. Some really proper nuttiness and that maca root I suppose (similar to the other beer that I tasted from them. Well balanced and tasty, but maybe a bit too carbonated or something.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at TAP NY. Pours deep amber with a beige head. Banana bread, nuts, and malty sweetness. Pretty damn spot on, and doesn’t come across very artificial. Really damn good.
