COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

Bottle. Comes across a bit watery upfront but finishes neatly with an intense, sweet-bitter note and a light hoppy aftertaste. Good one.

Pale burnt yellow. Starts off with a two finger head but fades to a quarter inch film. Has a grassy malt aroma. Crisp malt taste. mild bitterness. Refreshing and feels light. I’d be happy to have this one again.

Pours bright, gold and crystal clear. Medium-sized white head. Surprisingly good head retention with some decent lacing. The aroma is clean and sweet with fresh barley. Just a little bit of mustiness, possibly from the travel distance/time. It has a simple sugary, doughy flavor. There’s a touch of herbal, grassy, spicy hops. It’s all very gentle, though. A touch of cider. The taste is similar, though the hops come through more. Moderate sweetness and moderate bitterness. The hops have a spicy, grassy bitterness to them. It fades pretty quickly. Finishes pretty dry. Very easy to drink. Gently effervescent mouthfeel. Quite light. It’s not a dramatic beer, but it’s solid enough.

Pale golden pilsener with big frothy white head that is medium long and leaves lacing. Grainy aroma is dry. Simple and pure flavor, nice palate with standard carbonation, long bit harsh finish is grainy like taste, dry. Easy to drink, simple but this works.

i’ve drunken it out of a can aroma: slightly grassy, malty, hoppy, overall quite neutral taste: malty, low carbonisation, hay, low hop aroma

Bottle. Pours clear light golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of yeast and malty touches. Mild acidic hints. Bitter aftertaste. Medium body. An OK Pilsener.
