COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

500ml bottle. Smelled sour and tasted the same. Quite bitter, but not in a pleasent pilsner way. I’ll keep away from this in the future

Bottle 500ml at home, poured into a pilsner glass, ABV 4.9% Dark golden yellow colour on the body, good activity in it and two fingers of soapy white head on top. Good retention, it leaves medium lacing on the glass. Nice aroma, grass, floral notes, only slighty malty, noble hops. Very nice taste too with malts on the background and up front hops and once again floral notes, light apple and an intense enough bitterness with a long duration. Medium thin body, quite dry on the palate. AVerage carbonation. Very good and highly drinkable pilsner.

Pours clear golden with a huge frothy head. Aroma is mostly malty and grainy, slightly sweetish. Taste is malty at first, but pleasantly bitter herbal notes strengthens later. Dryish finish. Very well balanced and tasty brew. (0,5 l bottle, best before 18 nov 2014).

Pale burnt yellow. Starts off with a two finger head but fades to a quarter inch film. Has a grassy malt aroma. Crisp malt taste. mild bitterness. Refreshing and feels light. I’d be happy to have this one again.

Pours bright, gold and crystal clear. Medium-sized white head. Surprisingly good head retention with some decent lacing. The aroma is clean and sweet with fresh barley. Just a little bit of mustiness, possibly from the travel distance/time. It has a simple sugary, doughy flavor. There’s a touch of herbal, grassy, spicy hops. It’s all very gentle, though. A touch of cider. The taste is similar, though the hops come through more. Moderate sweetness and moderate bitterness. The hops have a spicy, grassy bitterness to them. It fades pretty quickly. Finishes pretty dry. Very easy to drink. Gently effervescent mouthfeel. Quite light. It’s not a dramatic beer, but it’s solid enough.

Bottle. Pours clear light golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of yeast and malty touches. Mild acidic hints. Bitter aftertaste. Medium body. An OK Pilsener.
