COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

Golden pour with large white head. Aroma of straw and alcohol. Smooth taste and even finish. Decent Pils.

I got a 5L mini-keg of this. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with very little head due to the type of min-keg. Scent is grainy. Taste has a lot of grain to it. Ok texture but could really use some work. Not too much taste to it and it leaves a dry after taste. About average, nothing special here.

Pours a very minimally hazed straw/gold with a bright white head. Nose is as to be expected for the style. Slightly hopped and earthy. Flavor is fairly robust. Good, but not overly unique. Smooth bitter edge with a slight sweet touch. Feel is standard. Drinkable? Absolutely. This may not be the most inventive of the style, but you could certainly session this one quite easily. More of an everyday beer instead of a special occasion one. For some reason as I drink this I have the urge to eat a big fat pork chop with this.

Floral hoppy aroma. Taste is slightly malty and too sweet. A bitter finish though. Also some fruitiness, but as a whole too stale for me.

Battle. Golden with nice size white head. Straw, metal and lime aroma. Sweet malt aroma and typical pilsener notes with a metallic note as well. Decent palate; quite smooth so it scores a little extra.

Bottle from Gourmet Haus Staudt in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is malts, herbs, herbal bread. Taste is sweet and watery. The sweet / herbal vibe didn’t mix very well for me. No grassy notes to speak of.

Keg. Pours a pale yellow with a white head. Hoppy aroma. Taste is a boring "round" sweet hoppy concoction. Not bad, but no more than average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Klares goldgelb mit relativ viel Schaum. Malzig, hopfig, leicht grasig, etwas würzig, etwas herb.

Pale gold pour with a one finger white head and decent lacing. Bready biscuit malt aroma with a touch of spicy noble hops, and hint of light citrus and honey. Very bready malt flavor with some grassy lemon notes and a light bitterness on the finish. Light refreshing body with a bit of chewyness on the finish. Would like a bit more of a hop profile and a bit more crispness in the finish in this one.
