3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
I’m not a huge fan of pils but this is pretty good. Very refreshing, crisp, and clean. Light pale body with a thin white head that stays throughout the drink. Spot lacing. Smell and taste are average malt and hops. Good balance. Simple can be good.

Malziger Geruch mit Hopfenblume ins zitronige. Einigermaßen Herb mit schönen Hopfennoten. Mundgefühl ein bisschen pelzig.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours almost clear light golden with a tiny white head that stays around for a quite a while despite its small size. This beer’s aroma is just skunky. I can’t smell anything beyond the skunk. This beer has a very skunky lager taste despite being a pilsner. This is one of those beers that after you take the first sip you aren’t sure whether it is a good idea to have the second. On top of that, the beer feels a little fuzzy in my mouth.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330ml bottle, poured into La Chouffe tulip.
A: Pale colour, small head which didn’t hang around long, minimal lacing.
S: Hallertau hop, fruity, grassy.
T: Lots of bitterness as title would suggest, notes of bread and grass. Balanced but uncomplex.
M: Crisp, light body, well carbonated, coarse.
O: A decent enough Pils, I think it might be hard to drink more than 2 or 3 because of the bitterness.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice golden pour. Skunky aroma. Flavor is pretty average, but grew on me a little bit over the course of the glass. Not my favorite pils, but alright.

Bottle. Pours a gold color with a light white head. Decent lacing. Malty, grassy aroma along w/ flavor. Light bodied. Goes down very easily, a little bitter on the finish, but overall nice mouth feel. Very refreshing. Not bad.
