COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

Bottle. Pours a very pale yellow with a greenish hue to it. A small 2 mm creamy white head settles for a little while before disappearing. Aroma has a lot of malts, a maize like feel and a slight touch of roses. Medium to low carbonation. Taste begins slightly peppery bitter, then expands a lot of malty sweetness - all served very dry. Quite usable Pils.

Flavor is crisp Pils malt, light corn notes, medium spicy hops and bitterness, a clean lager character and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma of herbal hops and some grainy and vegetal notes. Sweetish malt flavor, a bit bready, with a moderately bitter herbal hops finish. Light-medium-bodied. Not great, but kinda drinkable.

5L keg at our Septoberfest party. This beer pours a pale yellow color with a medium thick and frothy white head that diminishes slowly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of mild hops and grainy malt. Light-bodied with a bready malt and hops flavor. Not a whole lot else going on aside from touches of spice. The finish is clean and earthy with a short-lived malt aftertaste. Average-ish.

11.2 oz bottle of "malt liqour". Pours with a bright white quickly dissipating head that looks like soapy bubbles, not good for a pils. On the other side, the color of the beer is spot on. This one is maltier on the nose than most with herbal, medicinal hops. The mouthfeel is the most noticeable thing of this brew, it is significantly fuller than most pilseners, and I like it. The taste of this one is also classic pilsener, the hops come out more in the taste though they are perfectly balanced with the malt. The drinkability is up there, this is a classic German made pils.
