2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
5L keg at our Septoberfest party. This beer pours a pale yellow color with a medium thick and frothy white head that diminishes slowly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of mild hops and grainy malt. Light-bodied with a bready malt and hops flavor. Not a whole lot else going on aside from touches of spice. The finish is clean and earthy with a short-lived malt aftertaste. Average-ish.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
500ml bottle with a golden neck, shared by Gaute. Firm, white head leaving nice lacework on the glassware. Clear, straw coloured body. Hay and pale malts on the nose. Rather faint taste of half-sweet, pale malts alongside a drop of herbal hops. Clean and soft in the mouth. Okay (Tromsø 24.10.2013).

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can (kindly delivered by joss!): Golden with a greenish sheen, a bit unclear; grassy hoppy nose with a delicate bisquity and pale-malty background; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft MF; slightly lingering pale-malty and hoppy finish. Surprise, surprise: Quite a good brew from a macro-brewer.....

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
11.2 oz bottle of "malt liqour".
Pours with a bright white quickly dissipating head that looks like soapy bubbles, not good for a pils. On the other side, the color of the beer is spot on.
This one is maltier on the nose than most with herbal, medicinal hops.
The mouthfeel is the most noticeable thing of this brew, it is significantly fuller than most pilseners, and I like it. The taste of this one is also classic pilsener, the hops come out more in the taste though they are perfectly balanced with the malt.
The drinkability is up there, this is a classic German made pils.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2006 Bottle - Creamy floral aroma. Clear yellow color with ample long-lasting head. Creamy malt flavor with a very interesting bitter hops finish with a hint of smokiness. A very interesting pils - the more I drink, the more the smokiness came out. A very unique pilsener.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a medium frothy white head. Faint floral hoppy aroma. Soft bittersweet flavour, light to medium body. Slight malty start with a fine but average hopbitter finish. Clean and well-made Pilsner type but still nothing special.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
fresh bottle. sparkling bright gold body with a white, medium-sized bubbled head. beautifully clean but soft nose of both sweet honey / biscuit / cracker pilsner malt and a quiet German hop bouquet (dried grass, spice, light fruit) and a very-proper mineral / calcium carbonate smell to the water. crisp, smacking texture though it’s a bit oily and waxy in the finish (and a bit too thin). medium-light body, medium-light frothiness. what it lacks in texture it makes up for in aroma and flavor: though light, it’s very clean and fresh and without many off-notes. there’s a touch of metal and a touch of DMS here and there, more noticeable as it warms and breathes.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle from an Autohof on the A6. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Malty, slightly grainy base with some aromatic hops plus some bitter hops. Not as aromtaic as could be.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2009 500 ml bottle. Finland. (HHOK).
Clear golden colour with big white head.
I was very surprised when I found milk chocolate aroma on a German Pilsener. Also a bit metallic and hoppy aroma. A bit harsh hoppy flavour with some metallic notes. Quite regular German Pils.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Ron’s Schoolhouse, Exton. Pale gold pour with 2-finger whitish head. Aroma of pale malt, slight hopcitrus and honey. The flavor was pale malt, some light syrupy apricot, and mild hops and citrus. Not terribly exciting.
