3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Snifter from bottle. A: sweet malt, chocolate, cinnamon, slight alcohol, and brown sugar. App: very nice dark brown, small light head that disperses quickly. T: alcohol up front, some sweetness from the malt in the middle, and slight alcoholly burn on the back. P: sensational, super bubbly, and an ever-lasting aftertaste.

Pours very dark, end of the SRM scale. Not much of a head. Aroma is definitely malty-sweetness, caramel. On initial taste, very cold temp attributed to med-high spikey carbonation feel in the mouth. As I let it warm to room temp, the carb dropped and viscosity became thicker. Left very little lace. Hops are absent on aroma and taste. High alcohol in taste and afterwards, left a very warming effect. I don’t drink a lot of Eisbocks but this one will be worth another purchase in the future. One in a session is good enough based on the high ABV.

Not much of aroma, just faintly ... grainy.
Flavor has some maltiness, actually pleasant. Bready, little sweet.
A bit too carbonated.

Dark and syrupy, sweet but strong. Dark brown/ruby with spare beige head. No taste of alcohol, but plenty of warmth. Dried fruit aroma with a tinge of molasses, taste is mostly sweet with some roast grains to round it out. Beautifully done.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with off white head. Lacing on sides of glass. Strong bready sweet aroma. Some caramel, toasted notes. Taste is sweet malty goodness. Caramel, toffee, biscuits and a hint of cherry. Barely any detectable bitterness. Medium to full bodied with a sweet sticky mouthfeel. Great beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A dark brown beer with a medium and blond head. The nose is quite sweet and strongly malty, dark and dried fruits, some berries, also hint of dark bread. Taste is rich of malts, not very sweet, dark bread and some fruits. Almost full bodied, nice and lightnening carbonation. Quite nice, but slightly too simple.
