2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Holmen1 (1075) - NORWAY - SEP 26, 2012
0,33 flaske, gave fra Petro: tynt skum som forsvinner raskt men lager litt gardin. De 0,7% ekstra i forhold til pils gir en ekstra snert i smaken og munnfylden. En helt ok eksport/gulløl.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 beerandbeyond (452) - ISRAEL - SEP 2, 2012
500ml bottle poured into a mug.
Clear yellow color with a nice bubbly white head.
Mild floral hops, grains and bread on the nose with some cooked veggies.
sweetish flavor of malt with some metallic and alcoholic after taste. Low bitterness.
Light-med body, a little too carbonated, easy to drink but not interesting enough to do so.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 kerenmk (1214) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours pale golden, clear with a frothy white head. Smells more fruity, more distinctive lemon than the lager hell we tastes right before, tastes bitter and rather bland. Light body, a little diluted, short finish.

A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty - and so is the flavor, simple but nice.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BlackHaddock (2353) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 24, 2012
Feb 2010: Brown 500ml bottle poured three times into a ’Veltins Pilsner’ stemmed tulip.
Standard pils/lager look, bright, clear and mid-golden in colour (lighter than a Dort). Lovelly snow white head sat on top of each pour. Trails of bubbles could be seen rising up through the beer, so plenty of life, or at least well carbonated.
I struggle to find much aroma from most lagers, this was no exception, gets my average score of 3 for smell.
Refreshingly crisp with a dry bitterness towards the end of each gulp. I thought I detected corn or wheat more than barley at first, but it became more like a regular German lager/pilsner as the tasting progressed. No huge flavours, just a well balanced light coloured Export Lager.
The label said it was ’Wurzig-Mild’, can’t argue with that!
