Litre swing top bottle bought at the Landbierdealer in Hof. Amber color. Aroma of toffee and rancid butter. Diacetyl! Malty flavor with peach and the first signs of an upcoming sourness.Butter. Flowery hops in the aftertaste. This beer has potential, but is far from perfect.

Clear medium to light amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, malty, dusty malt, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120405]

bottle from Münchberg (2010). Clear amber-brown colour, large off-white head. Intensive malt falvours, fresh resiny hops in the finish. Good.

Vorwiegend herber Antrunk mit gedämpfter Malznote. Recht getreidig, wenig aromatisch. Die Malzigkeit bleibt versteckt. Frisch, etwas zu mild, ansonsten sind immerhin die Grundaromen gelungen. 10/8/9/9//8

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy dark amber colour. The flavour starts off roasted, turns a little sweet and nutty. Sourish finish.

Hazy amber with a medium beige head. Aroma had had toasted malt, caramel and hints of hops. Sweet flavour with toasted malt, caramel and vague hops. Finished sweet.

Draft @ brewpub. Is autumnal red and hazed, with lasting off-white color head and scattered lacing. Worty big bready aroma is inviting. Thin, watery, and fizzy palate. Flavors do not deliver on the aromas sadly. Smells awesome but is too fizzy and has a mineral water finish. Still has good spent grain flavors that are pure.

Hazy dark amber. Toasty, worty aroma with hints of chocolate. Kind of fizzy but lots of breadcrust. The carbonation genuinely gets in the way,but otherwise this has a nice dark malt character.
