guzzler (77), AE, Germany Mar 27, 2003 Light hoppy aroma with a creamy, fully dissipating head. Pale yellow color, but a nice clean, crisp, dry palate. Kind of sweet flavor with a bit of a bitter aftertaste. Not too bad.
ogivlado (2399), Zagreb, Croatia Sep 10, 2008 swing top bottle (500ml). -as Kulmbacher Mönchshof Feines Helles Lager
The last of nine (almost) "never heard" German beers from supermarket near German-Czech border. Yellow coloured, medium to big white head, weak dusty corny nose. Boring and ordinary hell, malty, weak hoppy, light grainy and herbal taste with notes of corn and salty finish. Doggythedog (1020), Split, Croatia Sep 8, 2008 A bottle that ogivlado found somewhere... in Germany I guess after RBESG08. Yellow/golden body with a medium sized white head that went away relatively fast. The nose is damn weak, notes of sulphur. Blah. The taste isn’t as bad... medium bodied, weak sweet honey maltiness going hand in hand with light acidic herbal hopiness. Just ok. BeerBiker (1209), Odense, Denmark Aug 13, 2008 Bottle from Mads. Boring beer with usually notes of corn look and yellow head. Aroflavor of corn, hay and metal. Dedollewaitor (2167), Odense, Denmark Jun 8, 2008 50cl bottle. Pours plae & clear piss yellow with a lovely white foam. Aroma is grass & corn. Crisp & drinkable lager/helles! ChristianScheffel (2250), Odense, Denmark Jun 7, 2008 Pale yellow with a small white head. Malty aroma with a strong note of cooked vegetables, and a background note of German hops. Sweet flavour dominated by the pilsner malt.
