50cl swing top bottle. Brownish color with a short but thick beige head. Aroma is very loaded of roasted malts, very nice. Taste is balanced, sweetish in the beginning ending up in a moderate bitterness. Body is medium to full, proper carbonation, malty finish, vaguely dry. A very nice classic dunkler bock.

Reviewed on 19/12/14. Bottle, 500ml. A clear copper beer with a medium size foamy head that fades away after a couple of minutes. Aroma is of chestnuts, wood, caramel, alcohol and malt. Taste is bitter with a robust character and an alcoholic finish. Past expiration date, so it wasn’t optimal.

Bottle, swingtop. Clear copper, four fingers beige head, slowly dissipating, some lacings. Aroma is malt, caramell, nuts, bread, cookies, dust, some floral notes. Taste is malty, nutty, overriped fruit, some slight lingering bitterness, slight alcoholic feel. All this fairly well balaced, making it quite drinkable. Medium body, medium carbo, sharp bubbles, slight oily texture.
