Draught
Nut brown, not much head. Hoppy lemon nose. Malty, barley flavor, dry woody mouthfeel and aftertaste. Light alcohol kick in the beginning. Some similarities to East European strong lagers in the palate.

leaparsons (8837) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2005
Chestnut brown with an off-white head. Aromas are light, sweet chocolate malts with some roast earthiness. Flavours are sweet molasses malts with chocolate and hints of nuts. Some fruit sourness helps things along. Satin smooth on the palate with a decent sparkle. Fairly dry on the finish. Nice beer.

Bottled. A chestnut brown coloured beer with minimal head. The aroma is sweet and malty with some caramel and toffee notes. The taste is also sweet with caramel and a lovely creamy fullness. A really tasty Bock which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Brownish amber colour with a malty and very sweet nose. Flavour is sweet as well but nicely balanced by the palate and bitter finish.

(on bottle)Not much happening in the copperish color or the small hints of malt in the nose. Pearls down easly and the malt flavours lingers for a long time, nice bock, sit.

Bottle. Red-brown colour with a large, rapidly diminishing head. Caramel-toffee sweetness with a low bitterness. Medium body. Easy to drink but not much going on. An average bock.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20
pivo (2631) - GERMANY - JAN 23, 2005
Light lager nose with sweet malt aromas, dark copper-amber color, sticky head. Sweet malt steps up to the plate right away. Some toffee-ish tastes also tucked away in the middle, along with some nuts. Slightly dry woody finish with a cinnomon tinge. Medium body, creamy texture and a smooth balance. Classy.
