crowderm (382) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 18, 2010
Clear brown pour, off-white head. Aroma is fruiter than I would expect from a bock. Malt sweetness as expected, but also a hint of something sour. Flavor is quite nice. Begins pretty bitter and very roasty, this soon transitions into a sweet caramel finish. Medium bodied, smooth. Good brew.

hackobock (2758) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 6, 2016
February 6, 2016. Bottle, best before July 6, 2016.
Clear ruby red with a large slightly off-white head. Aroma is malty, light nutty, metallic and fruity with toffee, dark bread, hints of dried fruits, dark berries and herbs. Taste is medium sweet, soft bitter. Finish is smooth, rounded, slight watery with sweet notes of toffee, bread and berries. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.
Has a slightly watery feel to it with muted flavors.

Bottle. Caramel, nuts and honey. Medium body, quite sweet with a light dry finish. Light acetaldehyde is a drawback in here.

Flaske. Farven er rødlig brun og skumkronen er lys og fast. Aromaen er maltet, krydret og sødlig og det samme er smagen. En gennemsnitlig bock.

Leighton (16268) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2015
Bottle shared by a group of men in Colin’s hotel room during the Bamberg Jolly of 2014. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy white head. Rich, with lots of bready malts, a bit of toffee. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Very sweet on the finish, quite rich, with lots of bread and toffee. Good beer overall, though certainly sweet and rich.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2015 Foam is not very high. Beer has unclear light brown caramel color. But aroma is very unusual - caramel and roasted bread. Taste acquires also notes of coffee but has no any bitter. Palate is very soft but memorable. Super

Copper color, medium head, good lacing. Not intensive aroma of malt and bread crust. Taste malty, sweet, bread crust, biscuits, some alcohol in aftertaste. Not bad.

Foerdifuxx (125) - Franconia, GERMANY - OCT 1, 2015
Amber coloured beer with a medium, medium lasting, off-white head. Aromas of dark bread, malt, caramel, burned toast, bitter almond, some rum-soaked raisins, nice coffee powder, some basement aromas. There are hops underneath, i would say floral and herbal. Roast malt dominated taste, lightly sour, medium sweetness, bit thin. Thin, lightly salty, finish. Bready aftertaste. Sticky texture, avarage to soft carbonation, medium to full body.
